I went and saw this movie last weekend and LOVED it! If you like the music of ABBA, you will love this movie! It was so much fun! The setting in which the story takes place is beautiful. It instantly drew me in. The costumes the characters wore throughout the movie were just as fun and groovy as the music. Meryl Streep did a great job as one of the lead female roles- she's so pretty! As for the lead male, you can't go wrong with Pierce Brosnan. Even though he doesn't have a lot of experience singing, he's so good looking it doesn't matter! The actors that played the young engaged couple were really gorgeous too, and captured that feeling of fun and youth very well. The music brought back memories of my own youth. I remember dancing my heart out to Dancing Queen as my friends and I would scope out the cute boys. I ended up marrying one of those cute boys :) Anyway, this is a great movie and I can't wait to see it again!

I went and saw this movie last night with some friends and LOVED IT!!! I haven't seen anything this fun for ages! We left the movie theatre taping our toes, clapping our hands and grinning from ear to ear! I'm with you...can't wait to see it again :)
Oh I'm glad you liked it! I've heard bad reviews from people I know, but they all had seen the stage production, so maybe they were expecting something different.
I have such great memories of ABBA, too, that I think I would like the movie, especially if I go in with the mindset of just having fun!
