When Emma turned one for some reason she wanted nothing to do with her birthday cake. She wouldn't even touch it. I was a little worried. Who doesn't like birthday cake? Now 7 months later I gave it another try and she LIKED it!

We always see these 1st year birthday cake photos of the babies digging in and making huge messes... NONE of my babies did that! In fact, Christian was pretty much horrified by the blue frosting on his cake and wouldn't touch it.
However, there's no stopping them now from any cake put in front of them, lol!
My girls didn't really get into their cake either. I am glad to see Emma has come around and her 2nd birthday will be very messy!
This post made me laugh! So funny how kids don't always follow our idea of how things should go. The little cuties do things their own way and on their own timetable, that's for sure!
Doesn't blogging make the world so much smaller?! I'm so happy we "ran into" each other again. Emma looks like a little angel.
