Last night I went and saw Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with my mom, sister and Chelsea. It was a great girlie movie but I got so annoyed with all the texting! That's right! It was an audience full of teenagers texting on their cell phones! We sat on the very back row and not only were the girls right in front of me and to my side texting every five minutes but I could look down among the whole audience and there were little bluish cell phone lights lighting up the theater everywhere! Ugh! It was soooo annoying!! It made me grumpy and I was very close to saying something to the girls in front of me that were not only texting but then giggling about whatever text that had just received! Why go to a movie if you're going to be playing on your cell phone the whole time?! Save yourself the money and text somewhere else! Sheesh! How rude!!

How hilarious! I,personally, have never gotten in to this text messaging craze...maybe if it was free along with my cell phone plan, but to have to pay to do it--no thanks!
Amen Sister!!!! I don't get it either, sorry that you were not able to enjoy the movie the way you should have been able to. Why do they think that just because it isn't ringing, and their not talking that it isn't rude to have their phone lit up and to be laughing and showing their friends?? What is wrong with people : ) ???

This is a huge issue with our YW! We have to tell them no cell phones at activities or camp or ski trips, etc, because all they do is text. Even when they are hanging out together they are still texting each other and other friends who aren't there. I agree....ANNOYING!
