Mission Pigtails Accomplished!

Emma's hair has been long enough for pigtails for a while now but the little stinker would throw a tantrum everytime I attempted to do her hair! I don't think it hurts her at all. I think it's more about her having some control and independence in her little toddler life! I was patient and waited it out thinking that eventually she'd let me do her hair without a fuss. I tried again today, setting her on the bathroom counter with plenty of things to look at and touch while I did her hair. This time it worked! She hardly even noticed that I had done anything to her hair! And she looks so cute! I feel so fulfilled : )

When you put your baby girl's hair up, it literally transforms them into a big girl. I remember...

LOVE IT. Congrats on the accomplishment. ;)

That's one thing I'm missing with having a boy and not a girl. I guess it's nice that I don't have to have a fight over doing hair, but it is so dang cute once it's done!

I just want you to know that I love your family and I love your little one.

I'm soooo jealous she let you do that and I love it when little girls get their hair all done up! My 4 year old still doesn't let me do her hair:( I keep saying 'maybe next year', but it just never seems to happen...lol

So cute! I was so excited when we got Madyson's in little ones. It's so fun to be able to do their hair and they look so big when you do it!
