Happy Halloween 2008

Halloween, as always, was a lot of fun! Emma and I went up to my sister Lisa's house in Washington along with my mom, Jill, Chelsea and Mallory. Before we left we did some celebrating with Mike and the rest of the family that would be staying behind in Oregon. I created some collages using my digital scrap booking program on my computer so you could catch a glimpse of the fun! Emma's costume was a hit and luckily fit over her bright pink cast! After stopping by Jill's for a quick pre-halloween visit, we picked up a pumpkin costume to go over the Elmo costume. So Emma was dressed up as Elmo dressed up as a pumpkin! We had a great time up at Lisa's! We made our traditional Halloween chili, corn bread and apple cider. Then we got the kids all dressed up and took a bunch of photos. Emma didn't have any desire to get out of her stroller and trick or treat so we just enjoyed a nice walk with cousin Mallory and Aunt Jill. It was fun to see all the kids dressed up in my sister's neighborhood! The decorations were fun to look at, too! My nieces and nephews looked really great in their costumes! Chelsea was a gothic prom queen; Sarah was a gothic witch (I guess goth is all the rage); Taylor was a scary, crazy man with big hair and a scar on his face! He has really nice, thick curly blond hair (lucky boy) that he just sort of ratted up! It looked awesome! Ben was a scary Dementor type monster and Alex was a really neat character from Star wars! A good time was had by all.
