Busy Bee

I've been really busy but I'm not as stressed or grumpy as this bee looks! I have a little job that I do from home grading Spanish tests on the computer. The only time of year I really have any work is from April to June and right now there is a ton to grade! I try to put in at least 4-5 hours a day but can put in a lot more than that if I can. I have always had a lot of respect for mothers that work outside of the home but now I have even more! I am very fortunate that this job I have is one I can do from home but even still, I find it pretty challenging to accomplish everything I want to accomplish! Its been a little tough juggling Emma and all her needs, doing my grading job, keeping up on housework, going grocery shopping, etc. and fitting in other extra activities that come up. My husband has been very supportive and helpful, to which I am very thankful. I'm actually very grateful to have this job, the extra money is nice and it's a great way to keep up on my Spanish. I'm sure I'll adjust to this new, busy routine with time. Probably by the time I've adjusted, the grading will all be done for the school year! Oh well! Anyway, just wanted to share what I've been up to lately and why I may not post as often.
On a side note, my sister Jill will probably have her baby sometime in the next week! I am so excited! I can't wait! I will post some photos of the baby shortly after she makes her debut!

You are amazing! 5 hours a day??? That WOULD be tough to fit it all in! Is it through ETS Online Scoring Network? I have a friend that scores papers through them and she really enjoys it.
I remember your sister, Jill! Is she still in Eugene? Congratulations to her and her new addition! What fun :)

Keeping up with a toddler is a full-time job in itself without adding on housework and everything else! However, it's nice to be able to actually enjoy and be supported in doing something extra, especially when it helps you keep up on your foreign language skills. I don't think I could tell you a single sentence in French despite the 3 years I spent going to French class in highs school!

That's cool that you do that. I'll have to email you about that sometime. Do they have other papers that other teachers could grade, like English teachers? Does it pay well? Do you have a quota you have to do in a certain amount of time?
