Proud Aunt

My sister Jill is AMAZING!! She went to the hospital yesterday afternoon to be induced due to high blood pressure. At 11:30 pm, she was only dilated to a 1 and her doctor thought that she probably wouldn't have the baby until later the next morning. So we all went to bed. At 2 am, the doctor checked my sister and she was still only at a 1. At 3:40 am I got a call from my brother-in-law telling me that the baby had been born! In an hour and a half, she dilated from a 1 to a 9 and the baby came so fast that she didn't even have time for the epidural that she wanted. The doctor didn't even get there in time! The nurse delivered the baby! I am so proud of my sister. She has been through a lot with this pregnancy and I can't believe she did this delivery without medication. Especially because she was hospitalized a few weeks ago due to back pain so bad she couldn't even move. How she was able to push a baby out with a bad back without drugs is beyond me! She is one incredible woman. Without further ado, here's the little whipper snapper that came zooming out:
Mallory Kae
6 lbs. 8 oz.
20 inches long
with beautiful red hair
I'll have to show off the red hair at a later time! Its gorgeous!

I have to agree with you that Jill is amazing. I saw her at albertsons about a week ago and she looked ready. I agree with Julee, I think the baby looks like Chelsey. How exciting. Did you guys have a shower for her yet? We were wondering because my family went together and bought her something.

Jill is amazing! I can't believe she dialated that fast. Mallory must have decided she was ready to enter this world with a bang! Maybe she will have a whippersnapper( I like that word!) personality too:0) Tell Jill Hi from me. She really does look like Chelsea from what I can remember of her.
